Why styled text sometimes appears as boxes
A missing glyph is usually a display limitation, not a copying mistake.
A character still needs a drawing
Unicode identifies a character; a font supplies a visible drawing called a glyph. When the selected font cannot draw it and no suitable fallback is available, a device may display a square, question mark or another replacement. The text can be intact even though the reader cannot see it correctly.
A practical troubleshooting sequence
First paste a short sample into the exact field you intend to use. Try a simpler style from the generator. Compare the result on another current browser or device if available. If ordinary text works and the decorated version does not, use ordinary text for that field. Updating an app may improve support, but there is no universal repair that a generator can apply.
When an image makes more sense
For a visual post, a PNG preserves the rendered appearance from your device. Inspect the export first, because missing glyphs in the preview will also be missing in the image. An image is not a substitute for an accessible text description, an account handle or a searchable paragraph. Include the wording separately when possible.
