Upside-Down Text Generator
Flip and reverse a short line for a playful text effect.
What this style changes
Each line is reversed separately, then supported characters are replaced with upside-down look-alikes. Emoji sequences are kept together when the browser supports grapheme segmentation.
Before you paste
Some shapes are approximations. Unsupported scripts keep their characters but their order follows the reversal; this is a visual effect, not a translation or a safe transform for important multilingual text.

How to use upside-down text generator
- Replace the sample with your own wording. Start with a short phrase so you can inspect every changed character.
- Compare the available results, including punctuation and numbers. The examples below show this tool’s actual output for two sample inputs.
- Copy your chosen result, then inspect it in the destination. If you need only one accented word in a longer sentence, build the sentence in Font Mixer.
Input and output examples
These examples are produced by the same transformations as the tool. The ordinary input is included so you can compare the underlying wording.
| Input | Style | Output |
|---|---|---|
| Hello 123 | Upside down | ƐᄅƖ ollǝH |
| Café time | Upside down | ǝɯıʇ éɟɐƆ |
Frequently asked questions
Does the tool reverse the word order?
Yes. It reverses each line and then substitutes supported upside-down look-alikes. Separate input lines stay in their original top-to-bottom order.
Will every character have a perfect upside-down match?
No. Some letter shapes are approximations, and unsupported characters remain themselves while moving with the reversed line. This is best used for a brief playful phrase.
Can I use it for multilingual names?
Keep an ordinary version. The reversal can make mixed scripts and right-to-left text confusing even when the characters are preserved. It does not translate, transliterate or check name readability.
Why can the pasted result look different?
The destination chooses the font and may reject or normalize characters. Test a small sample in the exact field. If it shows boxes or becomes hard to read, choose a simpler alphabet or ordinary text.
Can I copy this style without an account?
Yes. The tool runs in your browser and does not require registration. Copy the displayed output, or select it manually if browser clipboard access is unavailable.
