Superscript Text Generator
Raise supported lowercase letters, numbers and a few arithmetic symbols.
What this style changes
This mapping combines existing superscript and modifier-letter characters. The lowercase q is left ordinary because this collection does not substitute an unrelated look-alike. Uppercase letters stay unchanged.
Before you paste
Use a document editor’s superscript formatting for formal footnotes and precise scientific notation. This tool makes text characters, not a layout-aware footnote or equation.
Try a short example
Start with “little notes 123”, compare the outputs above and copy the version you prefer. The copy button uses the text currently in the editor.
How to use superscript text generator
- Replace the sample with your own wording. Start with a short phrase so you can inspect every changed character.
- Compare the available results, including punctuation and numbers. The examples below show this tool’s actual output for two sample inputs.
- Copy your chosen result, then inspect it in the destination. If you need only one accented word in a longer sentence, build the sentence in Font Mixer.
Input and output examples
These examples are produced by the same transformations as the tool. The ordinary input is included so you can compare the underlying wording.
| Input | Style | Output |
|---|---|---|
| Hello 123 | Superscript | Hᵉˡˡᵒ ¹²³ |
| Café time | Superscript | Cᵃᶠé ᵗⁱᵐᵉ |
Frequently asked questions
Why are q and capital letters unchanged?
The implemented mapping leaves lowercase q ordinary and preserves uppercase letters. It avoids substituting unrelated look-alikes simply to make every position look raised.
Can I write powers such as x²?
The digit mapping includes ² and the other superscript digits. You can copy a short result, but the tool does not build or validate an equation. Use an equation editor for structured mathematical work.
Does this reduce the font size?
No. It selects existing raised characters whose shapes are determined by the display font. It cannot set a precise point size or control how high the destination places them.
Why can the pasted result look different?
The destination chooses the font and may reject or normalize characters. Test a small sample in the exact field. If it shows boxes or becomes hard to read, choose a simpler alphabet or ordinary text.
Can I copy this style without an account?
Yes. The tool runs in your browser and does not require registration. Copy the displayed output, or select it manually if browser clipboard access is unavailable.
