Strikethrough Text Generator
Draw a line through supported letters and numbers while keeping the original wording visible.
What this style changes
The tool adds a combining stroke after each ASCII letter or number. Punctuation, spaces, accented characters and non-Latin scripts are preserved without extra strokes.
Before you paste
The result is not a semantic deletion marker. Screen readers and search tools may handle the added marks differently; explain an important correction in ordinary words as well.
Try a short example
Start with “A change of plans”, compare the outputs above and copy the version you prefer. The copy button uses the text currently in the editor.
How to use strikethrough text generator
- Replace the sample with your own wording. Start with a short phrase so you can inspect every changed character.
- Compare the available results, including punctuation and numbers. The examples below show this tool’s actual output for two sample inputs.
- Copy your chosen result, then inspect it in the destination. If you need only one accented word in a longer sentence, build the sentence in Font Mixer.
Input and output examples
These examples are produced by the same transformations as the tool. The ordinary input is included so you can compare the underlying wording.

|---|---|---|
| Hello 123 | Strikethrough | H̶e̶l̶l̶o̶ 1̶2̶3̶ |

Frequently asked questions
Why are punctuation and accented letters not crossed out?
The tool adds its stroke only after ASCII letters and digits. Other characters remain unchanged to avoid indiscriminately adding combining marks to text the mapping does not cover.
Does the line mean the text is deleted?
The wording is still present in the copied string. A visual strike does not mark a semantic deletion or remove information. Explain important corrections directly instead of relying on the line alone.
How can I remove the stroke?
Open Text Cleaner and enable removal of supported decorative marks. Compare the cleaned result with the original before replacing it, especially if the text contains meaningful accents.
Why can the pasted result look different?
The destination chooses the font and may reject or normalize characters. Test a small sample in the exact field. If it shows boxes or becomes hard to read, choose a simpler alphabet or ordinary text.
Can I copy this style without an account?
Yes. The tool runs in your browser and does not require registration. Copy the displayed output, or select it manually if browser clipboard access is unavailable.
